Substrate Preparation
Surface must be:
Clean, dry, and sound
Free from oil, grease, dust, old sealant
Remove loose materials before application
Primer / Treatment
Generally primerless adhesion
For high-performance applications:
Non-porous substrates:
Aluminium, steel, PVC, tiles → Aktivator-205
Brass / zinc → Aktivator-205 + Primer-3 N
Porous substrates:
Use Primer-3 N
Application Method
Apply masking tape (optional)
Insert backing rod
Prime if required
Apply sealant using gun
Ensure full contact with joint sides
Avoid air entrapment
Tool immediately for smooth finish
Remove tape within skin time

Do NOT use:
On concrete, plaster, masonry (alkaline surfaces)
On porous materials (stone, marble, granite)
For structural glazing
Under water pressure or immersion
In swimming pools
In confined spaces without airflow
On materials releasing oils/plasticizers
Where abrasion or heavy mechanical stress occurs
For medical or food applications
